Practice Teaching at the Elementary School

Spring 2017, I was taking one of my educational course requirements, which is ED 392 Practicum with Professor S. Moses. In this course, we usually developed lesson plans, and went to the Palikir Elementary School and delivered the lessons to the students. Therefore, before we actually going out to the Elementary School we had learned some different kinds of strategies for teaching in which they enable us to succeed during our teaching sessions.
However these are the pictures of  Palikir Elementary School building and the picture of my students and as well as my master teacher.

By taking this class I've been learned and experienced about the important of teaching. It was a challenging, creative, and meaningful way to help kids see their own potential and to imagine possibilities they might otherwise not imagine.

Therefore,  being with the students  and help them learn and think about new ideas makes my heart happy. I strongly believe in my heart that I could make a difference in a child's life. Most importantly , as a future teacher  I wanted to be a positive influence in their life in both the classroom and outside the classroom or in the real world.  I really wanted to be there to support them academically in extra-curriculum activities.  I will do my best to teach the students to make an impact and open up their eyes to all the possibilities that are out there.

Some people believe that you can become a teacher if you had a degree in business, nursing, or etc. But I actually disagree. Becoming a teacher you must have specific skills to be success.

As matter of fact, every child can be succeed when matched with a wonderful teacher.
So what I want is to become that wonderful teacher, so the students could be successful. Especially because we all know that there is nothing more personally or professionally fulfilling than when the product of our work is a child's academic or society growth.
